iStart2 Help-A-Stranger ... Tebogo Kgethe #HAS

We have some truly remarkable people in our country! On the iStart2 Show this week we chatted to Tebogo Pin-Pin Kgethe, the founder of #HAS about his journey. "If I can change one person's life it is enough for me," says Tebogo. "You don't need lots of money to help someone."

iStart2 and HAS Foundation has teamed up and will be sharing WakaWaka solar lights to some disadvantaged households without access to electricity in Gauteng during the holiday season.

HAS Foundation is a South African registered Non-Profit Company with a mission of helping independent orphanage homes, homes for the elderly, people living on the streets and vulnerable kids from children-headed homes. They are well known both locally and internationally by the name #HAS, “HAS” stands for HELP-A-STRANGER.

Their vision is to create a national chain by encouraging ordinary people to work together and help each other to better the lives of those who are less fortunate regardless of nationality, religion, sexuality, gender or race.

Everything collected is donated to children-headed homes, independent orphanage homes, homes for the elderly and people living on the streets. All their merchandise and prices can be found on their official website:

Proceeds made from sales of these merchandise are used to cover operational expenses and fund children that they have adopted.
