These young South African women are not just beautiful, they also have the knowledge, passion and wisdom to create a sustainable difference in our fight to combat the destruction of our natural heritage. And be assured, Miss Earth is NOT a beauty pageant ... it is a leadership programme focused on ‘greening’ hearts and minds of young South African women. Michillay Brown, Steffani Alexander, Roxanne Watson and Ashanti Mbanga shatter stereotypical pre-conceived ideas about a Miss Earth crying out for "world peace".
