Hillbrow ... Hans Koedood

When you start an initiative like iStart2, it is like jumping out of a plane and you still assemble the "paraplu" on the way down. It is then that you hold on tight to true friendships you made many moons ago... What an honour to interview someone I met more than 3 decades ago - someone who continues to give support in friendship, business and life. A friend whose opinion I value for its justness and sincerity.

Sponsor (Koedood International Financial Support) and anchor of the iStart2 movement in Europe, Hans Koedood, entertained us in the studio on his recent visit to South Africa.

We chat about a few issues:
- Why you don't want to be called a consultant ( and i thought being a "banker" is the big swear word),
- How Europeans view investment in South Africa,
- Why a financial guru believes in " Sustainability-thru-Art"..

- some interesting views on Hillbrow ... we also listen to songs from Johannes Kerkorrel, The Doors and our very own Pops Mohamed with a little bit of Ntsiki Mazwai's beautiful poetry.

Positively inspiring to hear some good news about our country from an observer on the other side of the world.
